Overview
In Aloware, Lines can connect to a single user or can be assigned to multiple users. However, a user can also set a personal line that can be used in call routing when the admin assigns the calls to a user. Read about Routing and IVR to know more.
How to Set User's Personal Line
Setting a user's personal line takes place from the Line menu and Users menu. It will affect the sending and receiving of communications:
It will send automated messages out of the owner’s line instead of the designated line
HubSpot SMS will send messages out of the owner’s line instead of the designated line
To set a user's personal line, navigate to the Lines menu
Select the user line and click Settings
Navigate to Routing and IVR tab
Enable the "A User" option and select the user in Who should answer this call? section
Click Save
Navigate to the Users menu, select the user
Click Settings
In the Profile tab, navigate to the User's Personal Line section, and select the user for a personal line
Click Save
