Setting User's Personal Line

Overview

In Aloware, Lines can connect to a single user or can be assigned to multiple users. However, a user can also set a personal line that can be used in call routing when the admin assigns the calls to a user. Read about Routing and IVR to know more.


How to Set User's Personal Line

Setting a user's personal line takes place from the Line menu and Users menu. It will affect the sending and receiving of communications:

  • It will send automated messages out of the owner’s line instead of the designated line

  • HubSpot SMS will send messages out of the owner’s line instead of the designated line

    • To set a user's personal line, navigate to the Lines menu

    • Select the user line and click Settings

    • Navigate to Routing and IVR tab

    • Enable the "A User" option and select the user in Who should answer this call? section

    • Click Save

    • Navigate to the Users menu, select the user

    • Click Settings

    • In the Profile tab, navigate to the User's Personal Line section, and select the user for a personal line

    • Click Save
