Overview

Managing your phone numbers to your Aloware lines helps your team to manage a large number of calls daily where you can re-route incoming calls, enroll contacts to ring groups or allow them to leave a voicemail.


Transfer Existing Phone numbers to another Line

You can transfer an Aloware phone number to another line conveniently in the General Settings.

To begin with,

  • Click the Line menu in the left sidebar > General Settings

  • Navigate to the Phone Numbers section

  • Once you select the phone number, you want to transfer, click the Transfer button under the Operations column.

  • Select where you want to transfer the phone number: existing or new line

    • Transfer to an existing line

      • In the Phone numbers section, select the number you want to transfer

      • Click the Transfer button

      • Select Existing Line, and select the Lines available to transfer the number

      • Click OK to confirm the selection

      • Click Save

    • Transfer to a new line

      • In the Phone numbers section, select the number you want to transfer

      • Click the Transfer button

      • Select New Line, and name the new line that is easy to understand

      • Click OK to confirm the selection

      • Click Save

    📝 Note - If you transferred a number to an existing line or new line, the phone number should:

    • Disappear from the list of the phone numbers on the current line, and

    • Appear on the list of phone numbers on the line that it was transferred to
