Overview

The integration of Aloware and SendGrid allows users to send emails through Aloware.


Integration Prerequisites

  • You have to be an admin to integrate SendGrid with Aloware


Connect SendGrid with Aloware

  • In your Aloware account, navigate to the Integration tab

  • Select the SendGrid card, and click Settings

  • Enable Integration Status

  • In your SendGrid account, copy the API Key

  • Paste the API Key in Aloware's Integration Settings > SendGrid, and click the Test and Save button

    📝 Note - A notif-message will display under the API Key field indicating whether the integration had passed or not

  • Provide details of the following fields:

    • Sender Address - The sender's email address that Aloware should send email from

    • Sender Name

    • SendGrid Information Integration - Displays the SendGrid account integrated with Aloware

      • User ID

      • First Name

      • Last Name

      • Website


Confirmation

You can send a test email from Aloware to check the details you set in the integration settings.

  • In your Aloware account, go to the Contacts tab

  • Select a contact with an email address, and send click the Email icon
