Overview

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) prohibits telemarketing, automated and pre-recorded calls from calling consumers without their permision. TCPA allows consumers to sue and collect damages from companies for non-compliant calls and texts.

Check with your legal counsel to ensure that your opt-out methods are TCPA compliant. Read here to know more information on the Do-Not-Call List.

Aloware admins can enable an option to automatically opt-out contacts from SMS until they submit a specific form, which will manually opt-in.
