When you integrate HubSpot and Aloware, you may want to add other information aside from the standard fields like First Name, Last Name, and Company Name. This is where custom fields come to help you with your needs.
By using Aloware's HubSpot mapping fields, you can create as many fields as you want, and specify the type of data you need when you sync information between Aloware and HubSpot.
Only Admins can set the HubSpot mapping fields
How to Set HubSpot Mapping Fields in Aloware
Aloware now supports custom field mapping for each account in HubSpot integration. This enables you to customize your HubSpot records to any Aloware field in an infinite number of ways.
To do this,
Navigate to the Integrations menu
Go to HubSpot Card, click Settings
Navigate to Contact Property Mapping
In the Default Fields section, toggle on Enable Editing
📝 Note - The Enable editing switch is turned off whenever the user accesses the integration page. Enabling this switch will allow the admin to modify the mappings
Listed below are the default fields for Aloware and HubSpot
HubSpot Lead Status
📝 Note - Users can see a field type helper in the HubSpot contact field selection box. When users create a field in HubSpot, the field type is set; HubSpot does not accept incompatible value types e.g. it will not accept the value "Hello" if the field type is a number.
You can customize other Aloware and HubSpot fields based on the following:
Facebook Ads Properties
Date of Birth
Custom Field 1
Web Analytics History
Custom Field 2
Click the Add Mapping button to add more fields
❗️Note - Admins are not allowed to map an Aloware or HubSpot contact field multiple times. The contact field will automatically be disabled during selection if it’s already mapped.
