The Aloware Talk Calendar Page

The Aloware Talk Calendar is a handy tool within the Aloware Talk platform that helps you manage your time and plan your tasks. It makes adding events and getting appointment reminders easy and fast.

Getting to the Aloware Calendar is simple. Just click on the Calendar icon in the side-bar menu of Aloware Talk.

On the Calendar page, you'll find these useful functions:

  1. Date Selector - Easily pick specific dates to see your events.

  2. Today Quick Selector Button - Instantly switch to today's date for quick updates.

  3. Filters - Organize your events by applying filters that suit your needs.

    1. Appointments

    2. Reminders

    3. Status

      1. Cancelled Appointment

      2. Appointment Set

      3. Appointment Completed

      4. Completed Reminder

      5. Cancelled Reminder

      6. Pending Reminder

  4. Time-Format - Choose how you want to see time, whether in a 12-hour (AM/PM) or 24-hour format.

  5. Month or Day View - Get a clear picture of your entire month for better planning.

  6. Help - Provides the following event legend statuses:

    1. Upcoming Appointment

    2. Past Appointment

    3. Completed Appointment

    4. Canceled Appointment

    5. Upcoming Reminder

    6. Past Reminder

    7. Completed Reminder

    8. Canceled Reminder

  7. Days of the Month - See a simple overview of your busy and free days at a glance.


How to Add Events To Aloware Talk Calendar

The Aloware Talk Calendar isn't just for scheduling; it's your partner in managing your time effectively. It seamlessly blends with Aloware Talk, allowing you to quickly add events and get important appointment reminders, giving your productivity a boost.

  1. Login to your Aloware Talk account.

  2. Access the Calendar menu.

  3. Depending on your preferred view – Day, Month, or Week – click on the specific date or time slot for your event.

  4. Complete the provided form with event details.

    1. Event Type - Select either Appointment or Reminder.

    2. Contact - Select the contact for the appointment.

      πŸ—’οΈNote - When you add an appointment to a selected contact, Aloware will automatically set the timezone based on the location of the contact's phone number.

    3. Timezone - Select the timezone.

      πŸ—’οΈNote - When scheduling an appointment or reminder, Aloware automatically adjusts the reminder to your time zone and sends the SMS reminder to the contact in their respective time zone.

    4. Note - Add a note if needed.

    SMS Reminder

    1. Enable SMS reminder to the contact.

    2. Send From - Select the line to use in sending the reminder.

    3. Time - Set the time in AM/PM or 24-hour format.

    4. Send (n) days before - Decide how many days before you want to send the reminder.

    5. Template variables - Use template variables if you want to include specific information.

  5. Once you're satisfied with the entered information, hit the "Save" button.

Your event would immediately appear on the Calendar.


Reviewing Your Appointments in the Communications Page

You can also review your appointment on the Communications page. To do this,

  • Access the Communications menu and locate the contact for whom you scheduled the appointment.

  • The appointment reminder is configured according to your timezone.

  • Furthermore, the message reminder is adjusted to match your contact's timezone.
