Set Reminders in Aloware Talk Calendar

Overview

SMS reminders are messages or appointments sent to clients or customers via Aloware SMS as the communication channel. This feature is excellent for customers to remember appointments or those that you need to schedule soon.

You will be able to do the following with this feature:

  • Initiate SMS reminders manually.

  • Change the default SMS reminder text.

  • Choose the Line you want to use to send the reminder.

  • Check the SMS reminder box in advance.


The Calendar's Set Appointment function

The Calendar menu is convenient for setting an appointment or a reminder. Aloware integrated into it to make setting dates easier. Click the desired date, and the Add Event dialog box will appear. Select whether to make an appointment or a reminder from the dropdown menu. Contact is required because you will add the event to the Calendar page.


How to Enable SMS Reminders

Via Calendar page:

  1. Log in to your Aloware Talk account.

  2. Navigate to the Calendar page.

  3. Choose and click a date for an appointment.

  4. Choose Appointment as an event type and fill up the required information.

  5. Ensure that you check the Enable SMS Reminder.

  6. Once finished, click Save Event.

Via Contact page:

  1. Log in to your Aloware Talk account.

  2. Navigate to the Contact page.

  3. Choose a contact for an appointment.

  4. At the right sidebar, click Add Appointment.

  5. Fill up the required information and check the Enable SMS Reminder.

  6. Once finished, click Add Event.


How to Send an SMS Reminder

Aloware Talk automatically sends SMS reminders based on the frequency by default. On top of that, the platform gives you the option to send SMS reminders manually.

  1. Log in to your Aloware Talk account.

  2. Navigate to the Contact page.

  3. Choose a contact with an appointment set.

  4. Under the appointment card, click Send SMS Reminder.
