Overview

Aloware allows you to set working hours for a Line. You can also send an SMS or set up a Voice prompt when a call comes in after hours. This feature enables you to provide a consistent customer experience even when your team is not around.


How to Add Working Hours and Missed Call Options to a Line

  1. Please log in to your Aloware Classic account.

  2. Once logged in, navigate to the Lines page.

  3. On the Lines page, choose a Line and click Settings.

  4. Navigate to the Greet & Record tab.

  5. From there, you can enable the Check Operating Hours option.

  6. Choose your preferred options; you can set up an after-hours voice message and define a reply text.


How to Set Up a Closed Hours Voice Prompt

  1. Under Check Operating Hours, check the Closed Hours Voice Prompt option.

  2. From there, you can use text-to-speech or play a recording.

    1. To use text-to-speech:

      1. Navigate to the Text to Speech tab.

      2. Under Voice Prompt, you can just type in your message; Aloware will automatically convert it to voice format.

      3. To add variables, click + Add Variables and select the variable you need to add.

      4. Once you're satisfied with your message, you can click Save.

    2. To play a recording:

      1. Navigate to the Play Recording tab.

      2. There, you can record or upload an MP3 or a WAV file of less than 8 MB.

      3. To record, press the record button and record your message.

      4. Just drag and drop your MP3 or WAV file to the upload panel to upload.

      5. Once you are satisfied with your recording, click Save.


How to Set Up a Closed Hours Auto Reply Text

  1. Under Check Operating Hours, check the Closed Hours Auto Reply Text.

  2. On the Auto Reply Text, compose your message.

  3. You can add Variables by clicking + Add Variables and selecting your desired variable.

  4. Once you're satisfied with your message, you can click Save.
