A Guide to A2P 10DLC Associated Fees

If you're sending automated messages to customers, you're likely familiar with A2P, or application-to-person messaging. A2P messaging allows businesses to send text messages to customers, whether it's to confirm an appointment, update them on an order, or send promotional messages. However, there are costs associated with A2P messaging, and it is important to understand these fees before launching a campaign.

Brand Registration Fees

To register your brand for A2P (Application-to-Person) messaging, there is a one-time passthrough fee of $44. This fee covers the registration process to ensure compliance with carrier guidelines.

Campaign Registration Fees

For each messaging campaign use case, there is a one-time vetting fee of $15. This fee is required to verify that your campaign complies with carrier guidelines and ensures that your messages are not blocked. Please note that the submitted messaging campaign use case is subject to approval.

  • Monthly Campaign Fees

In addition to the campaign registration fees, there is a monthly charge of $10 per messaging campaign use case. This fee covers the ongoing maintenance of your campaign on the carrier's network and ensures compliance with all regulations.

Since it is required to have all lines (and therefore, all phone numbers) submitted under a registered campaign, Aloware recommends grouping your lines by like use case for cost-effectiveness.

Note: The maximum number of phone numbers per campaign registration is 400.

Please be aware that the fees mentioned above are current as of the publication date of this article and are subject to change. It's always recommended to check with Aloware or refer to the latest documentation for the most up-to-date information on fees and charges.
