In today's fast-paced business world, effective communication and seamless data synchronization between different platforms are crucial for achieving success. When it comes to managing customer relationships and automating marketing tasks, integrating various tools can make a significant difference.

By combining Aloware, with GoHighLevel (GHL), a powerful CRM and marketing automation solution, you can create a robust system that enhances customer interactions and automates your marketing efforts.

In this article, we will provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to integrate Go High Level with Aloware.


Integration Prerequisites:

Before diving into the integration process, there are a few prerequisites you need to meet:

  1. Only Admins can enable the Aloware and GHL integration.

  2. The Aloware email must match the Go High Level username/email account for the admin to connect GHL to Aloware.

  3. Each user (agent) in Aloware and GHL should have the same email address to ensure their activities are properly reported in GHL.


Connecting Aloware and Go High Level

Follow these steps to establish a successful integration between Aloware and Go High Level:

Step 1: Access Integrations in Aloware

  1. Login to your Aloware Admin account.

  2. Navigate to the Integrations tab.

Step 2: Configure High Level Integration

  1. Go to the Go High Level card, and click the Settings button. This will take you to the Go High Level Integration Settings page.

  2. On this page, click the 'Authenticate' button and click on it. This action will initiate the process of validating your Go High Level account.

  3. After clicking on 'Authenticate,' you will be redirected to the Go High Level authentication page, where you will be asked to choose the specific GHL account that you want to integrate with Aloware.

Step 3: Review Integration Settings

  1. Upon selecting your GHL account, you will be directed to the GHL Integration Settings page. You can review and configure the settings related to the integration:

    1. General - Begin by checking the general integration status to ensure that all settings are correctly configured and the integration is functioning as expected.

      • Integration Status - Displays your connection if Connected or Failed.

      • Synchronization of Contacts - Manage how your contacts are synchronized between Aloware and Go High Level.

        The following data fields are synced between Aloware and GHL:

        • Name (First, Last)

        • Phone number

        • Email Address

        • Contact Owner - Contact owners assigned in Go High Level (GHL) can be synchronized with Aloware if the user also has an Aloware account.

        • City

        • State

        • Country

        • Timezone

        Once the synchronization is completed, you will receive an email notification.

    2. Filters - Set up filters to refine the data that is transferred between the two platforms.

      1. Choose Events to Send - By default, all Go High Level events will be enabled. You can customize the events by filtering specific criteria such as direction, type, and more. If you choose to apply a filter but do not select any options for that filter, no events will be sent.

        1. Type - Specify the type of data you wish to transfer, whether it is related to calls or SMS messages.

        2. Don't create new contacts - Choose whether or not you want to create new contacts in Go High Level through this integration.

        3. Don't update contact information - Choose whether or not you want to prevent any updates to contact information in Go High Level.

Once you have reviewed and configured these settings according to your needs, your Aloware and Go High Level integration is ready to go.


How to Find the Synced Contacts in Aloware Talk

To find contacts in Aloware Talk, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your Aloware Talk account.

  2. On the Aloware Talk dashboard, locate and click on the "Contacts" menu.

  3. Find GoHighLevel Imports - In the Contacts page, you will see contacts that have been synced from Go High Level (GHL) to Aloware Integration, tagged as "GoHighLevel Import."

  4. Click on one of the imported contacts to view its profile.

  5. View Contact Details - Inside the contact's profile, you can see all the associated contact details, such as their name, phone number, email, and any other relevant information.

  6. Check Integration Card: To get a quick look at the main info about the Go High Level integration, just check the "Integration" card marked as "GoHighLevel." This card will show if the data is syncing correctly. If you find any issues with the contact's info, click the "Sync with GoHighLevel" button to fix it.


How to Find the SMS and Call Activities in Go High Level

  1. In your GHL account, go to the Contacts menu.

  2. Select a contact you wish to view the communications history.

  3. Click the Task tab to view the calls made.

  4. Click the Notes tab to view the SMS.

With these steps, you can easily find and access contacts within Aloware Talk, particularly those that have been imported from Go High Level as part of your integration. This streamlined process helps you manage and access important customer information efficiently.
