Sometimes, Windows Defender can block Aloware on Windows, affecting the app's functionality. You or your IT administrator can configure Windows Defender to prevent this.
Disabling Windows Firewall

In the Windows Defender Firewall Control Panel, you'll see network profiles: Domain networks, Private networks, and Guest or public networks.
On the left-hand side, click "Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off."
On the Customize Settings page, disable Windows Firewall for each network profile.
Disabling Windows Firewall Using Windows Security App
Click the Start button and type "Windows Security."
Open the Windows Security app.
Go to Firewall & network protection.
Select a network profile (e.g., Private Network).
Turn off Windows Defender Firewall.
Repeat these steps for other network profiles if needed.
Blocking or Unblocking Programs in Windows Defender Firewall
Click the Start button and type "Firewall."
Open Windows Defender Firewall.
Select "Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall."
To block or unblock an app:
Uncheck the box next to the app's name to block it. Check the box to unblock it.
To apply changes to Private or Public networks, check or uncheck the boxes accordingly.
If the app is not listed:
1. Click "Allow another app…"
2. Select the app from the list or use the "Browse…" button to find the program file manually.
