What the bulk add users feature does

The bulk add users feature allows admins to assign multiple users as watchers across several ring groups at once. This makes inbox management faster and more scalable, especially for large teams with multiple supervisors or admins who need visibility into many inboxes.


Why the feature is important

Bulk adding users improves efficiency by reducing repetitive setup steps. It helps admins onboard teams faster, ensures consistent visibility across departments, and supports scalable oversight for growing organizations.


How admins can bulk add users as watchers

To bulk add users as watchers:

  1. Go to Admin > Ring Groups.

  2. Click the Bulk Add Users button.

  3. In the modal, select the users you want to assign as watchers.

  4. Select one or more ring groups.

  5. Click Save.

Once saved, the selected users become watchers in all selected ring groups.


What admins should keep in mind

This bulk action only assigns users as watchers. It does not affect routing, permissions, or ownership. If you need to add users as connected members of a team inbox, you must configure them individually inside each ring group. The feature also supports selecting up to all users and all ring groups in a single action.


Who can use this feature

This feature is available only to admins. Regular users do not see or have access to the bulk add users option.


How this feature works with other tools

The feature complements existing visibility and routing setups in team inboxes. It also supports scalable setups by centralizing watcher assignments across large teams.
