Cause: MCP operations are initiated by the AI assistant based on the user's prompt. The customer controls what the AI does through their instructions.
Resolution: Every MCP operation is real and consumes credits the same as a manual operation. There is no dry-run mode. Customers should review their prompts carefully before issuing multi-contact operations.
Rate limits
MCP operations go through the same rate limiting as the Form Capture API. There are no separate MCP-specific rate limits.
Viewing what the AI did
All MCP communications appear in the contact timeline with Creator Type: MCP. Customers can filter their activity log to see every MCP-originated action.
CRM integration compatibility
The Contact server supports looking up contacts and enrolling or disenrolling them by their HubSpot, Zoho, Guesty, or Pipedrive contact IDs.
