If you notice delayed response times, lag, slow applications, or apps quitting unexpectedly, your device might need some troubleshooting.

Basic Troubleshooting Tips

Follow these tips to keep your computer running smoothly while using Aloware:

  1. Keep Your OS Updated - Ensure your operating system is always up to date.

  2. Regular Restarts - Restart your device at least once a week or power it down when not in use.

  3. Free Up Space - Remove unnecessary files to free up drive/storage space.

  4. Optimize Visual Effects (Windows) - Adjust visual effects for best performance.

  5. Uninstall Unneeded Programs - Remove unnecessary programs and applications.

CPU Overload

CPU overload happens when many apps run in the background, consuming your computer's processing power. This can affect Aloware's performance and call quality.

Solution

Quit any unused apps and keep only necessary ones open. This allows each application to perform better.

Checking CPU Activity

  1. On Mac

    1. Open the Activity Monitor app.

    2. Click on the CPU tab to sort results by CPU usage percentage.

  2. On Windows

    1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. Alternatively, right-click the taskbar and select "Task Manager."

    2. Click on the "Processes" tab.

    3. Look at the CPU column to see which processes are using the most CPU power.

By following these tips and monitoring your CPU activity, you can ensure your computer runs efficiently, providing the best experience while using Aloware.
