If you have multiple accounts in Aloware, managing them has never been simpler. Thanks to the multiple account switcher, you can now switch between different accounts in Aloware Tall without needing to log out or access separate dashboard.
This feature is especially helpful for admins managing multiple business entities or sub-accounts under one user profile.
In this guide, we'll show you how to access, set up, and use the multiple account switcher, providing you with the flexibility to manage everything from one convenient interface.
Why use the multiple account switcher?
Multi-business management - admins managing multiple companies or brands can easily switch between them without logging out or maintaining separate browser tabs.
Efficiency for admins - this feature simplifies workflows for users who need to monitor and manage communications across different accounts.
Getting started with the multiple account switcher
The multiple account switcher is available to admins, enabling them to manage multiple accounts seamlessly within Talk.
Using the multiple account switcher in Talk
Click your profile - In Talk, click on your user profile at the top-right of the screen.
Select account - you will now see a select account feature in the dropdown. This will list all the accounts linked to your profile.
Switching accounts - to switch to another account, simply select the desired account from the list. For example, if you select Galactic Empire (or any other assigned account), the page will refresh, and you will be redirected to that account’s dashboard within Talk.
Seamless transition - you can switch back and forth between accounts without leaving Talk. Just click select account again and choose a different account from the list. This allows you to manage multiple accounts efficiently, all from within the same interface.
Key points to remember
Account hierarchy - the primary account holds all the permissions and settings for its child accounts. Make sure that any changes are done from the main user, as child accounts cannot inherit from a duplicate parent.
Visibility in Talk - the multiple account switcher is now fully integrated into Talk, so you no longer need to access the admin panel for switching. However, this functionality remains unchanged in the admin part of the product and continues to work as before.
Adding new accounts - if you need to add a new account (e.g., for testing purposes or new business entities), you can do this through the assign account option in the admin panel. Once added, the new account will appear in your select account dropdown in Talk.
The multiple account switcher brings flexibility and convenience for admins who manage several accounts. By allowing seamless switching within Talk, admins can now handle all their communications, settings, and monitoring from one interface, without the need to navigate away from their current workspace.
