What is NumberGuard?
NumberGuard is a paid service offered by Aloware that provides essential tools like carrier-validation, real-world testing, spam mislabeling resolution, and caller ID whitelisting. By using NumberGuard, admins can proactively scan their phone numbers for potential spam risks and ensure their outbound calls aren't incorrectly flagged as spam.
Why is this important?
NumberGuard minimizes the risk of outbound calls being labeled as spam /scam by the major carriers and helps remediate any existing spam/scam labels, thereby improving call deliverability and enabling your business to effectively reach it’s clients.
How can admins use NumberGuard?
Aloware admins can easily initiate a NumberGuard scan for their lines by following these steps:
Navigate to the NumberGuard wizard in Alo Admin > Lines.
Select the package that best fits your line type (local or non-local).
Choose your preferred scan frequency—either as a one-time scan or a monthly recurring scan.
Submit the order for processing.
Is NumberGuard available to all users?
At the moment, NumberGuard is only accessible to business admins. Agents do not have access to this feature.
How does NumberGuard integrate with other Aloware tools?
NumberGuard works alongside Aloware's suite of communication tools by protecting your business's phone numbers from being mislabeled as spam. This ensures that your outreach efforts remain effective, helping you connect with customers without interruptions.
Key configuration steps
Admins need to configure two (2) essential settings for NumberGuard:
Select the appropriate package based on whether the line is local or non-local.
Set the scan frequency (one-time or monthly) before submitting the order.
