How to send and edit contact or company cards in Aloware Talk

Learn how to send contact and company cards in Aloware Talk, edit their details, and fix issues when no lines are available to send.

Aloware Talk allows you to share contact or company information directly within conversations using cards.

This guide walks you through how to send a card, update card details before sending, and what to do if no lines are available.


Sending a contact or company card

  1. Open a conversation

    Go to the message thread in Aloware Talk where you need to send a card.

  2. Choose the card type

    In the message box, click the icon to open the card options.

    Select either contact card or company card.

  3. Send the card

    Once you’ve selected the card, click send card. The card will be sent immediately to the recipient.


Editing contact card details

  1. Access the settings page

    In the send card box, click on the click here link. This will open the settings page.

  2. Update the information

    Go to the Profile settings, and modify the contact details, such as the name, phone number, or line associated with the card.

  3. Save changes

    Save your updates. These changes will reflect when you send the card.


What to do if no lines are available

If no lines appear when editing or sending a contact or company card, you may need to add a personal line to proceed.

Add a personal line

  1. Create a line through the admin settings.

If you don’t have the required permissions to create a line, contact your admin for assistance.
