Aloware Talk filters allow you to refine and segment your contact lists to meet specific business needs. Filters can be applied within both the Contacts and Power Dialer menus, making it easier to analyze communication patterns, track team performance, and focus on specific groups of contacts.
Using multiple filter combinations
You can use more than five filters simultaneously in Aloware to create highly targeted and dynamic contact segments. By combining multiple filter criteria, you can uncover specific groups of contacts tailored to your business goals.
For example:
Identifying international contacts with no recent engagement - combine the Country filter with Last Engagement > 30 days to locate global leads who may need re-engagement.
Narrowing by additional criteria - add filters such as Lead Source, Tags, or Sequences to further refine your contact list for focused marketing or follow-up efforts.
Filtering international phone numbers
If you need to identify and work with contacts who have international phone numbers:
Navigate to Contacts > Filters.
Choose Country, then filter by specific countries.
To exclude local phone numbers, use the does not contain exactly filter and input your local country name.
Apply the filter.
Why use it? This process helps separate international contacts for focused campaigns or compliance purposes.
Tracking missed calls by team
If you want to check which teams might be missing calls or see team-specific performance:
Navigate to contacts > filters.
From contact relevance, group the results by ring group or contact owner.
Select contact communication, then choose unanswered.
Set your time range: Use filters like last engagement < 24 hours or a custom number of days.
Apply the filter.
Why use it? This filter helps you monitor team performance and spot areas where adjustments (e.g., workload, scheduling) may be needed.
Locating inactive contacts
To identify contacts who haven’t been engaged with recently:
Navigate to Contacts > Filters.
Select Contact Communication, and choose Last Engagement.
Set the parameter to more than 90 days ago.
Apply the filter.
Why use it? This filter creates a list of dormant contacts who may require follow-up attempts or re-engagement strategies. Use this list to revive potential leads or maintain customer relationships.
Key tips for using filters effectively
Create lists for saved filters
Aloware does not allow filter views to be saved directly. Instead, you can create dynamic lists based on filters, which will let you reuse specific filters without needing to recreate them each time. Learn how to create a dynamic list.
Combine filters for greater precision
Layering multiple filters provides deeper insights. For instance, you can combine Contact Communication: Last Engagement < 7 days with Tags: Interested to identify recently engaged contacts who are already tagged as potential prospects.
Use descriptive names for lists - when creating lists based on your filters, name them clearly to reflect their purpose, such as Missed Calls Last Week or Dormant Leads > 90 Days.
