Understanding the Aloware-HubSpot integration

The Aloware-HubSpot integration allows you to sync customer data, manage communication tools within HubSpot, and automate workflows using Aloware's features.

Before beginning the integration process, ensure you have:

  1. Aloware admin access to enable integrations.

  2. HubSpot admin permission to install apps from the HubSpot App Marketplace.

  3. Matching email addresses: The email used in Aloware should match the HubSpot account email.


Setting up the integration

Accessing Aloware in HubSpot app marketplace

  1. In your HubSpot account, click Settings.

  2. Within the Account setup, select Integrations, then select Connected apps.

  3. Click on the Visit app marketplace button.

  4. Search for Aloware and select install app.

  5. Once installed, Aloware will appear in the Connected apps section. For more detailed instructions, you can refer to HubSpot's guide on connecting apps to HubSpot.


Connecting Aloware and HubSpot

  1. In your Aloware account, navigate to the integrations menu.

  2. Go to the HubSpot card, and click the settings button.

  3. Click the Authenticate button to validate your HubSpot account. It will redirect you to the HubSpot page requesting authentication.

  4. Follow through HubSpot steps/prompts to connect Aloware and HubSpot.

  5. Once you select a HubSpot account to integrate, click the Connect button.

  6. You will be redirected back to Aloware, where the integration status will update.


Connection information

After connecting HubSpot and Aloware, you can manage and validate the integration through the HubSpot Admin Connection tab in your Aloware account.

This section is designed for CRM integration admins and provides a centralized view of connection details. It allows you to:

  • Review key integration information

  • Validate the current connection status

  • Manage settings and troubleshoot issues more efficiently


Managing your integration connection

  1. Enabling or disabling the integration

    Your Aloware-HubSpot integration can be easily controlled through the Connection Information section. Administrators have access to a toggle switch that allows you to enable the integration when needed or disable it when you want to temporarily suspend the connection without removing the configuration.

  2. Monitoring connection status

    The system provides clear visual indicators showing whether your integration is connected or disconnected at any given time. If any errors occur during the connection process or while the integration is running, detailed error logs will appear below the Connection Information section, helping you troubleshoot any issues quickly.

  3. Managing authentication

    The integration includes authentication tools to ensure your connection remains secure and functional. You can use the re-authenticate button to revalidate your connection to HubSpot whenever necessary.

    When testing if your integration is working properly, the Test Connection button will display a success toast notification to confirm everything is functioning correctly.

  4. Viewing connection information

    Your connection details are presented in a standardized format for easy reference. The information appears in the following sequence:

    • Email

    • Account Name (User Name or Company Name)

    • Account ID (User ID or Org ID)

    • Scopes

    • UI Domain (Company Domain or API Domain)

  3. Integration with HubSpot workflows - connect HubSpot workflows with Aloware Sequences, simplifying the management of automations and workflows.

Data synchronization

  1. Bidirectional record sync - ensure constant synchronization of data between HubSpot and Aloware, keeping records updated in both systems.

  2. Automatic contact detail update - automatically reflect changes to contact details in either HubSpot or Aloware, ensuring consistency in information.
