What is voice integrity?
When you place calls using Aloware, your phone numbers are evaluated by telecom carriers before they reach your customers.
These carriers rely on analytics providers to decide if a call should go through normally, be labeled, or treated as potential spam.
Voice Integrity ensures your numbers are recognized as legitimate by registering them with carrier analytics providers. This helps prevent spam mislabeling, improves how your calls are presented, and allows ongoing monitoring and remediation of your number’s reputation.
How reputation affects your calls
Every phone number builds a reputation over time. Carriers use this to determine how calls appear on a recipient’s device.
If a number has limited or negative reputation, calls may be labeled, ignored, or less likely to be answered.
Voice Integrity improves how your numbers are classified so calls reach customers as expected.
How voice integrity works
Voice Integrity registers your numbers with major carrier analytics providers that monitor and classify call activity:
Verizon through TNS
T-Mobile through First Orion
AT&T through Hiya
These providers assign reputation profiles, monitor spam signals, and help correct numbers with negative reputation.
After submission, carrier registration for active monitoring typically takes 48 to 72 hours.
How voice integrity registration works in Aloware
Voice integrity is part of the business registration process.
You provide basic information about your calling activity, such as use case, company size, and average calls per day. This helps carriers understand how your numbers are used.
Once your customer profile is approved, registration is submitted automatically. If details are missing, Aloware prompts you to complete them. Registration resumes once the profile is approved.
What happens after registration
Once your numbers are registered, they are monitored across carrier analytics networks and labeled inside Aloware so you can confirm which lines are covered.
This applies to all supported number types, including local presence lines, so they can be evaluated and classified correctly.
Registered numbers can also support other voice features, including branded calling, which rely on an established number reputation.
