In Aloware-HubSpot Integration Settings, HubSpot Custom Fields are referred to as Contact Property Mapping. This feature connects HubSpot and Aloware, ensuring that contact information stays in sync across both platforms. You can create new fields in Aloware, define their data types, and easily sync them with HubSpot.
This integration keeps your contact data accurate and up-to-date, whether it’s flowing from HubSpot to Aloware, Aloware to HubSpot, or both ways. It reduces manual data entry and eliminates discrepancies.
Prerequisites
Before you get started, make sure your Aloware account is connected to your HubSpot account.
Only Admins can set up HubSpot mapping fields.
Ensure you have created your custom contact fields in Aloware from the Account's menu.

Access the HubSpot settings from the Integration menu, then make sure to turn on "Enable Editing" in the contact property mapping section.
Under "Custom Fields," click the "+Add Mapping" button.
Select the Aloware field and its corresponding HubSpot contact property, then click "Save".
Remember, admins cannot map the same field multiple times.
Step 3: Map custom contact fields in Aloware
In Aloware Admin, go to Integrations > HubSpot > Settings.
In the Contact Property Mapping section, switch on "Enable Editing" under Default Fields. Turn it off after making changes.
You'll see different mapping legends:

Already mapped shows that a field is already mapped and cannot be mapped again. | |
Delete mapping allows you to delete an existing mapping. |
Controlling synchronization
You can decide which fields to sync and the direction of synchronization—either:
For example:
Aloware Phone Number maps to HubSpot Phone Number.
Aloware Contact Disposition Status maps to HubSpot Lead Status.
Aloware Email maps to HubSpot Email.
Mapping custom fields:
Aloware State maps to HubSpot State/Region. (HubSpot State/Field does not sync back to Aloware).
HubSpot Postal Code syncs as Zipcode to Aloware. (Aloware Zipcode does not sync back to HubSpot).
Contact Owner syncs on both platforms.
Make sure the data types match to ensure compatibility. For instance, avoid mapping a text field to a number field.
To add more mappings, click the "Add Mapping" button. Fields cannot be mapped multiple times.
Verifying the mapped fields
After mapping, click the "Pull Contacts" button in your Aloware account to sync contact information from HubSpot.
