Overview of call disposition synchronization

Aloware now dynamically displays call dispositions that are defined within HubSpot. This ensures that agents always work with a standardized list of outcomes, such as "Left voicemail", "Connected", or "No Answer". The synchronization ensures consistency in call logging and reporting across platforms.

What agents see in Aloware

When agents log a call in Aloware Talk, the list of disposition options they see is sourced directly from HubSpot. These synced options are labeled with πŸ” (lock icon), denoting their HubSpot origin and ensuring they cannot be altered in Aloware.


Integrate and map call dispositions

  1. Integrate Aloware with HubSpot

    Before syncing dispositions, connect Aloware to your HubSpot account.

  2. Navigate to HubSpot integration

    1. In Aloware, go to the HubSpot integration settings.

    2. Click the Settings button in the HubSpot card and open the Sync tab.

  3. Pull call outcomes

    Click the pull call outcomes button to import HubSpot's call dispositions into Aloware.

  4. Save the integration settings

    Ensure everything is synced by clicking Save. Once saved, HubSpot's call dispositions will begin populating in Aloware.


Map call dispositions between Aloware and HubSpot

After integrating the platforms, map the call outcome fields so they align properly.

  1. Access contact property mapping in Aloware.

    Navigate to settings > contact property mapping > default fields.

  2. Add a mapping

    1. Click +Add mapping

    2. In the column for Aloware, select Last Outbound Call Disposition.

    3. In the column for HubSpot, map it to Last Call Outcome.

  3. Save your mapping configuration

    Once the fields are mapped, click Save to finalize your setup.

Verify and sync call dispositions

Once everything is set up, confirm the synchronization works correctly.

  1. Check automatic syncing

    Aloware automatically pulls the call dispositions from HubSpot - no extra manual syncing is required.

  2. Test the sync

    1. Select a contact in Aloware that has an existing call disposition.

    2. Sync the contact with HubSpot and verify that the call outcome matches in both platforms.


Important notes on synchronization

  1. One-way sync

    Updates to call dispositions in Aloware will reflect in HubSpot automatically. However, changes made in HubSpot will not sync back to Aloware.

  2. Troubleshooting sync issues

    1. Discrepancies in call dispositions - double-check the mapping configuration. If correct, manually trigger a sync to fix the issue.

    2. Sync Delays - allow a few minutes for updates to process before verifying the results.
