This article provides instructions for enabling and mapping the timezone field in the HubSpot and Aloware integration. Proper setup ensures that your contacts' timezones sync accurately between both platforms, which is important for managing customer relationships and scheduling.
Prerequisite
Before starting, ensure that the Aloware and HubSpot integration is successfully set up. Without proper integration, timezone mapping will not function.
Step 1: Enable timezone mapping in Aloware integration settings
Access integration settings
Log in to your Aloware admin account and navigate to the Integrations menu.
Open HubSpot Integration Settings
Select settings in the HubSpot card.
Navigate to Contact property mapping tab
Add timezone mapping
Select +add mapping button and choose the timezone field in Aloware column.
Map this field to the default timezone property in HubSpot. This property in HubSpot is where customers can fill in their timezone for accurate contact management.
Save the mapping
Save the configuration after mapping the fields.
Step 2: Sync timezone to HubSpot
After saving the mapping, Aloware will automatically sync the timezone with HubSpot. This sync ensures that each contact’s timezone is correctly linked to their HubSpot profile.
After completing the setup, select a contact in Aloware who has a specified timezone.
Sync this contact with HubSpot.
Verify that the timezone in HubSpot matches the one in Aloware.

If you update the timezone in either Aloware or HubSpot, it will automatically update in the other platform due to the bidirectional sync.
