Sync phone line types (LRN) from Aloware to HubSpot
Phone line type, also referred to as LRN type, identifies whether a phone number is a Wireless, Landline, VoIP, Foreign, or Unknown number.
Syncing this information to HubSpot helps keep contact records accurate and allows you to segment contacts or build workflows based on the type of phone number associated with each contact.
To sync phone line types from Aloware to HubSpot, you must first create a custom contact property in HubSpot, then map that property in your Aloware integration settings.
Step 1: Create a custom contact property in HubSpot
Before Aloware can sync the line type, HubSpot must have a contact property to receive the data.
Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to the settings menu.
Navigate to Settings > Data Management > Properties.
Click the Create Property.
Create a contact property named LRN Type or Line Type.
Set the field type to Multiple checkboxes.
Add the following options within the multiple checkboxes field. These options represent the different types of phone lines that will be mapped and synced.
Step 2: Map the property in Aloware
After creating the HubSpot property, map it to the corresponding field in Aloware.
In Aloware, navigate to Admin > Integrations and open your HubSpot integration.
Navigate to contact property mapping tab.
Select Add Mapping and choose the line type field.
Map this field to the custom contact property created in HubSpot. In this example, the custom field is labeled as LRN Type or Line Type.
Save the mapping.
Step 3: Verify the sync
After the mapping is saved, Aloware automatically syncs the LRN type of a contact's primary phone number to the mapped HubSpot property.
For example, if Aloware identifies a contact's primary number as Wireless, the LRN Type property in HubSpot will be updated with the Wireless value.
