Aloware and Google Calendar Integration: A Complete Guide to Syncing Your Schedules

With Aloware's new feature, you can easily sync your appointments between the Aloware calendar and Google calendar in both directions. This means that as an admin, you can effectively reduce duplicated efforts and minimize the risk of scheduling conflicts.

Additionally, this feature allows you to stay organized and on top of your schedules, ensuring that you never miss important deadlines or events.

Furthermore, you can also get an overview of your team's schedule, making it easier to coordinate and manage tasks efficiently.


Integration Prerequisites

  • Only admins can integrate Google Calendar into Aloware Calendar.


Authenticating Google Calendar to Aloware

  1. Navigate to the Integrations menu, and click Settings in the Google Calendar card.

  2. Click Sync with Google to redirect you to Google for authentication.

  3. Select from your Google accounts.

  4. Click the Allow button to authenticate.


Integration Settings Configuration

  1. General - If the account is at its first sync, click the Re-Sync with Google.

  2. Google Calendar Settings

    • Synced Calendar - Select the from the list of Calendar to sync Aloware events.

    • Calendar Timezone - This field displays the timezone that the calendar follows.

    • Manual Sync

      • Sync Calendar - Use Push Calendar to see your upcoming Aloware Calendar Events and Appointments in Google Calendar.

      • Use Pull Calendar to see all your upcoming Google Calendar Events within Aloware Calendar.

      • Watch Google Calendar

        • Use Start Watching to let Aloware know when an event is added to your Google Calendar from now on.

        • Use stop-watching to stop adding events created in your Google Calendar.

    • Click Save.


Confirmation

  1. From Aloware - In your Aloware Talk Calendar, add a Reminder or Appointment.

  2. From Google Calendar - When adding an event from your Google Calendar, you must include at least one Aloware user.

  3. Synced Event - To display events, make sure to select the calendar synced with Aloware.
