The ‘All’ inbox status filter simplifies how you view and manage your communications. This filter lets you see every interaction with your contacts in one place, regardless of its current status.

What does the 'All' filter do?

When you select this filter, you can view all your contact communications, whether they are still ongoing, waiting for a follow-up, or already completed. Specifically, it shows:

  1. Open - this is the status for new communications that need your attention.

  2. Pending - these are tasks waiting for further action.

  3. Closed - these are communications or tasks that are completed.

With the 'All' filter, everything is displayed in one list. This means you don't have to switch between different filters to check on various tasks or conversations. Everything is right in front of you, making it easier to manage and sort through your work.

Why is the 'All' filter useful?

For users who handle many communications, such as in a call center, the 'All' filter saves time and reduces the hassle of checking different status filters. It gives you a complete view of all your tasks at once, ensuring you don’t miss anything.

How to use the 'All' filter

The 'All' filter is automatically set as the default view for all users, so no setup is required. When you navigate to the Inbox on the Talk Communications page, the 'All' filter will be active by default. You can continue to sort and filter the list as you would with other status filters.

Note - the filter respects your current visibility settings, so you only see what you’re supposed to.
