The voicemail drop library in Aloware Talk lets you store pre-recorded messages that can be inserted into a contact’s voicemail without staying on the line. This is especially useful during power dialing sessions or when you’re manually calling a large number of leads. Instead of repeating the same message, you can drop a voicemail after the beep and move on to your next call.

New to voicemail drops? Follow this interactive walkthrough to see exactly how to add, name, and use messages in your library.

Access the voicemail drop library

  1. Log in to your Aloware Talk account.

  2. Click the Settings (gear icon) in the sidebar menu.

  3. In the settings menu, select Outbound Call.

  4. Scroll to the Voicemail Drop Library section.

Add a new voicemail message

You can add messages to your library by either recording directly in Aloware Talk or uploading an existing audio file.

To record a message:

  1. Click Start Recording and follow the prompts.

  2. After recording, review your message by clicking Play.

To upload a message:

  1. Drag and drop your audio file into the upload area, or click Browse to choose it from your computer.

  2. Make sure the file is in a supported audio format.

Name and save your voicemail drop

  1. Assign a clear, descriptive name such as “Sales pitch” or “Customer follow-up” so it’s easy to find.

  2. Click Add to save the message to your library.

Verify your saved voicemail

  1. Always click Upload after recording; if you skip this, the file will not be saved.

  2. To confirm your message is stored, return to Settings > Outbound Call > Voicemail Drop Library and check that it appears in the list.

  3. If it’s missing, re-record or re-upload the file, ensuring you complete the save process.
