NumberGuard Scan Reports

See when NumberGuard scan reports arrive, who receives them, what they cover, and what to do if a carrier flags one of your numbers.

Written by Laarni D

NumberGuard is an Aloware add-on that monitors the phone numbers on your account and checks how carriers are labeling them.

When carriers flag a number as spam, fewer people answer calls from it. Spotting a flag early gives you time to act.

If your account has NumberGuard, Aloware emails you a scan report automatically. This article explains when the report arrives, who receives it, what it contains, and what to do if a number is flagged.

How often you'll get the report

Reports go out daily or weekly, depending on the schedule set for your account.

Each report shows its date range in the subject line and in the email body, so you can tell which period it covers.

To change how often you receive the report, contact your Customer Success Manager or Aloware Support.

Who receives the report

The report goes to the business email on your account, unless you've asked for a different recipient. A copy also goes to your Customer Success Manager if your account has one assigned. If it doesn't, the copy goes to [email protected].

Either way, someone at Aloware sees the same report you do.

What's in the report

The email subject is Your Aloware NumberGuard [Daily/Weekly] Report, and the email includes your account name and account ID. The full report is attached as a PDF and covers:

  • Summary: an at-a-glance overview of your numbers for the period.

  • Current carrier status: how carriers are labeling each of your numbers as of the latest scan.

  • Changes since the previous scan: numbers that were newly flagged during the report period.

The report only includes numbers on your account. Numbers from other accounts are never included.

What to do if a number is flagged

  1. Log in to Aloware and review the flagged number.

  2. Check how you're currently using that number. Numbers with high outbound volume in a short period of time are the most likely to be flagged.

  3. Contact your Customer Success Manager or Aloware Support to go over your options for that number.

If no numbers are flagged, you don't need to do anything.
