The Aloware Talk Chrome Extension brings calling and texting directly into your browser. It detects and highlights phone numbers on any webpage, letting you dial them instantly, add them to the Power Dialer, or create contacts in Aloware with complete details.

Instead of copying and pasting numbers between tools, you can work directly where you browse, saving time, reducing errors, and keeping your records organized.

Working with numbers and contacts

Numbers found

When you land on a webpage, the extension automatically scans and highlights phone numbers. The counter shows you how many were detected, giving you a quick idea of the potential leads on that page before you even click anything.

Login to Aloware/Add to Power Dialer

When logged in, this option turns into Add to Power Dialer. It’s especially helpful when you’re prospecting from directories or listings, you can pull all detected numbers into your My Queue with one click, instead of adding them one by one.

Click-to-call and line selection

If you want to call directly from the page, enable click-to-call. Calls follow your Aloware routing rules:

  • With a default line, the call starts right away.

  • With Always Ask, you pick which outbound line to use.

  • If your company has an assigned line, that setting is respected.
This ensures you’re always using the right number for the right type of outreach.

Contact creation with company name

When you create a new contact from a detected number, the extension automatically pulls in the company name. This avoids “No Name” records and keeps your CRM cleaner and easier to use later.

Customizing the click-to-call experience

Enable or disable click-to-call

You might not always want phone numbers clickable. For example, when browsing personal sites. The toggle gives you control over where the extension is active.

Enable or disable click-to-call

Confirm before calling

You can also enable Confirm Before Calling, which prompts you to confirm a number before the call starts, useful if you’re working fast and want a quick safeguard.

Managing calls and settings

Refresh

If numbers don’t load right away or a page is slow, use Refresh. This updates detection and makes sure the “Numbers Found” counter is accurate.

Settings

Choose how you want to place calls:

  • Use Talk Web App – Calls through the new Talk web app.

  • Use Talk Desktop App – Calls through the new Talk desktop app.
